Same here.
Rehan,
Thank you.
IP,
Would love to see you and other non-Pakistanis explore the beauty of the country but Im not really sure about Indians not having any visa problems to explore such locations. Let’s hope the relations get better!
Much better than the rest of Pakistan. Unfortunately most people in Pakistan misunderstood Gilgit-Baltistan for FATA or NWFP.Peace always prevail in these rugged valleys.Apart from natural wonders Gilgit-Baltistan has lot of man-made treasure to share.If you guys are interested I would love to share a lot about Gilgit-Baltistan.Sorry for my uninvited entry.I just couldnt resist after seeing pics of this majestic peak.
Thank Natasha,I see you are also quite frequent with your comments on Express tribune :).I am conservation architect and I restore historical buildings in these valleys. Altit Fort,Shigar Fort and currently Khaplu Fort are my projects. Queries about GB would help me to answer.Thanks
I thought to say hi as there is a perceptual silence there!!!!how are u guys??

@Rehan You are most welcome. My pleasure :)
@Natasha @IP
Narrowly missed the trip to K2 base camp that my group mates/friends did in 2008. Couldn’t join them. One of my biggest regrets.
The first pic, I believe, is the view from fairy meadows. Would love to explore more and more of these heavenly patches on earth.
Yes it’s Fairy Meadows.
how is the law and order there
